Brenda L. Boyd, PhD, is an educator, executive leadership coach, founder of Lead The Way Coaching Co., and creator of the Lead The Way Wholeness Compasss™.
She is passionate about helping professionals in healthcare, education, and faith-based organizations grow from the inside out—building healthy, sustainable leaders and cultures, rooted in wholeness, confidence, and authenticity.

Dr. Boyd holds a PhD in Leadership, a Master’s in Organizational Management, and a Master’s in Health Professions Education. She has also completed advanced training in executive coaching, consulting, equine assisted learning, family counseling, and adult education.
With more than 35 years of leadership experience across healthcare, higher education, marketing communications, and organizational development, Brenda brings a rare ability to connect with emerging professionals, educators, clinicians, faith leaders, and executives.
As a certified equine learning facilitator through TeachingHorse and EAL Academy, Brenda also offers experiential leadership sessions where horses become powerful partners in learning self-awareness, boundaries, communication, and presence.
Brenda defines coaching as a relational partnership that creates space for clarity, courage, and meaningful change. She doesn’t give answers or solve problems for her clients—she helps them uncover their own voice, strengthen their leadership, and take intentional steps toward transformation that lasts.
